Wie viel Demut verträgt Kunst eigentlich? Sind nicht der Mut zum Größenwahn und Demut zwei Antipoden, die es erstaunlicherweise braucht für ein Kunstwerk? So mancher predigt, man solle sich nicht so wichtig nehmen, die anderen machen lassen, das Fremde umarmen und echtes Wachstum zulassen. Hinter den Kulissen ist das Herrschen jedoch meist stärker vertreten als das Teilen. Gerade Filme entstehen nicht ohne massiven Kraftaufwand. Sie müssen verteidigt und am Leben gehalten werden. Sie existieren zuerst und zuletzt im Kopf und im Herzen einzelner Personen, die den ganzen Prozess steuern. Aber was bedeutet Demut in der Kunst dann? Demut vor dem, was abgebildet werden darf? Das Bewusstsein der eigenen Begrenztheit, im Denken, im Beobachten, im Gestalten? Das Bewusstsein, auf andere angewiesen zu sein?
